Terms
Terms of Service
Plain-English terms for working with Local Launch LLC. The signed engagement controls if anything conflicts.
1. Who we are
Local Launch LLC (“Local Launch,” “we,” “us”) is a Florida limited liability company. We are referred to publicly as “Local Launch.”
2. Engagement and scope
Final pricing, scope, and timelines are confirmed after the intake form and discovery call and described in a written engagement (the “Agreement”). Work outside the written scope is quoted separately.
3. Setup fee and deposits
The setup fee reserves a build slot in our queue. Before any substantive build work begins, deposits are refundable less processing fees (see Refund Policy). Once design or build work has begun, the setup fee is non-refundable and applies in full toward your project.
4. Annual support plans
Monthly support plans run on a 12-month agreement with monthly fees paid annually as a single upfront payment for the term. Annual payments are non-refundable once the term begins. Plans auto-renew for an additional 12-month term at the same rate unless either party provides written non-renewal notice at least 30 days before the renewal date.
5. Updates, overage, and rush work
Each plan includes a set number of monthly updates (Starter 1, Professional 3, Premium 6). An “update” is one request that can range from a text or image swap up to adding a new section, capped at 2 hours of work per request. Work beyond the included scope is billed at our standard overage rate of $150/hour. A $750 rush launch add-on is available for projects that must launch in 7 days or less, subject to availability.
6. Hosting, domain, and third-party costs
We help configure your domain and hosting. Third-party costs (domain registration, mailbox, payment processing, premium fonts, stock media, etc.) are pass-through at cost and billed by those providers directly to you, or invoiced separately without markup if we front them on your behalf.
7. Late payment and non-payment
Renewal invoices are issued before the renewal date. If a renewal or other invoice is not paid by its due date, we may suspend services and take the website offline until the balance is paid. We will give reasonable notice before suspension when practical. Reinstatement after suspension may require payment of past-due amounts and a reinstatement fee.
8. Ownership of work
You own your content and brand. Text, photos, logos, and information you provide remain yours. Custom written copy created for your site is licensed to you for use on your website. Local Launch retains ownership of the underlying website build, including page templates, code, design system, and configuration, which we operate as part of your ongoing service. If the engagement ends, we will export your content and assist a reasonable transition. We may display non-confidential examples of completed work in our marketing.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services for unlawful content, content that infringes third-party rights, or anything that creates risk for our infrastructure or other clients.
10. Warranties and liability
Services are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee specific search rankings or business outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Launch LLC's aggregate liability under the Agreement is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing law
These Terms and the Agreement are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Florida.
12. Service guarantee
Pre-launch kill switch. You may cancel the engagement at any time before your site launches and receive a full refund of annual support. The setup fee is non-refundable once design or build work has begun.
Uptime and response SLA. We commit to 99.5% monthly uptime and a response to any support request within 2 business days. If we miss either measure in a given calendar month, your next month of support is credited automatically. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and force majeure events are excluded from the uptime calculation.
