Refund Policy
Clear, predictable refund terms for Local Launch LLC engagements.
Setup fee
Before substantive design or build work has begun, setup fees are refundable less processing fees if you cancel within 7 days of payment.
Once design or build work has begun, the setup fee is non-refundable. It applies in full toward your project.
Annual support plans
Monthly support plans are sold as a 12-month agreement with monthly fees paid annually (one upfront payment for the term).
Annual support payments are non-refundable once the term begins. The plan continues through the end of the 12-month term. You may choose not to renew before the renewal date.
Pre-launch kill switch
You can cancel the engagement at any time before your site launches and receive a full refund of annual support. The setup fee remains non-refundable once design or build work has begun (because that work has already been performed).
Client cancellation (post-launch)
If you decide to end the engagement after launch, no refund of setup or annual support is due. We will complete any in-progress, paid work through a reasonable handoff and export your content.
If we cannot deliver
If Local Launch LLC determines we are not the right fit before substantive work begins, we will refund deposits less processing fees. If we materially fail to deliver agreed work after the engagement begins, we will refund the unearned portion or offer credit at our discretion.
Third-party pass-through costs
Domain registration, hosting, mailbox subscriptions, payment processor fees, stock media, and premium fonts are billed by those providers (or invoiced at cost without markup if we front them). These are not refundable by Local Launch LLC.
Non-payment
If a renewal or other invoice is not paid by its due date, we may suspend services and take the website offline until the balance is paid. Suspension does not waive amounts owed.
